Home Minister Amit Shah moved a resolution to remove Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir in the Rajya Sabha. Under this, no clause will now apply except a section of 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav said that the country will go through mutual consultations when the Modi government removes Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. He said the question is not Kashmir itself, the next question is what will happen to Pak Occupied Kashmir. Akhilesh, known as Chhoti Lohia, paid homage to Janeshwar Mishra here on his birth anniversary, saying, “Nobody should stifle. All are our own people. We should talk the most. The question is not Kashmir, the next question is what will happen to Pak Occupied Kashmir. ”
He said, “The country will only go through mutual consultations. It is with the consent of all that an issue will be resolved. To detain leaders, to take institutions under pressure, learn from the BJP. ”
The Modi government has decided to abolish Article 370 of the Constitution granting special status to Jammu and Kashmir. The Government has given The Union Territory status to Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.

Now, after becoming a Union Territory, the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly will be like Delhi. That is, the head of the state will be the governor. The police will report to the Governor instead of the CM of Jammu and Kashmir, i.e., with the Law and Order Centre. Till now, the law and order was with the Jammu and Kashmir Government.
