How to Generate UDISE Code For Schools?
Registration of the UDISE code for schools is an important step on the UDISE portal. The first step to register is to enroll the school on the SDMS portal. The Block Education Officers(BEO) then start the verification process through various officials.
If approved, a provisional UDISE code is generated and sent to the District Education Officers (DDO) for final approval. This entire process takes 15 days to complete. There may be circumstances that a school is not approved, in such a scenario, the school needs to follow the steps:
Step 1:
- Visit the official portal of the school directory management system
- Register on the portal and complete the process using the UDISE code
- Once approved by the block/district authorities, the UDISE code will be generated
Step 2:
- Visit the Block Education Office (Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan and Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan) or the CRC in the area
- Fill in the details about the school on the UDISE Data Capture Format (DCF)
- Submit the form to the block officials in charge of UDISE
- The concerned Block MIS will check the details of the school
- The UDISE code will be generated after the approval of the Block MIS
